The following pie charts show the distribution of notes in each country for which notes have been produced, based on the first letter of the serial number for the current month. Click on the graphs to see a history. This will allow us to see if the notes distribution becomes uniform. Please note that the following graphs only reflect the notes that were entered in the database during the month indicated.
Since 2003, not every denomination is produced for every country any more. Each national central bank specializes in at most 4 values and imports banknotes at other denominations. Of course, this "pooling system" expedites the note diffusion.
